MusicFest Canada “The Nationals” is an invitation-only event, presented in partnership with the National Arts Centre. You may receive an invitation by qualifying at any one of the affiliated festivals, or through one of the Festival Chairs.

Invitations & Registration
Register your ensemble(s) now. Registrations are due 10 days after receiving your invitation at an affiliated festival or March 31, 2024, whichever comes first.
Each registered ensemble must pay a $599.00 non refundable deposit/minimum registration fee within 10 days of their online registration. Fees can be mailed to the MusicFest Canada Registration Office located at Box 1990, 311 Main St., Exeter, ON N0M 1S7. Ensembles will not be registered until their deposits are received. The deadline to register/submit deposits is April 1, 2024.
The Participant Fee for 2024 is $100.00. Directors and chaperones pay once. The surcharge for musicians performing in more than one ensemble is an additional $40.00 per ensemble. If you are a designated Niagara Falls-area inner city/local ensemble you may be eligible for the Slaight Music subsidy. For groups attending with more than 1 ensemble and 100 or more students, contact administration@musicfest.ca.
Ensembles using the second year of their invitation (issued in 2023) must register and pay a $599.00 deposit/minimum registration fee for each ensemble by October 31, 2023.
Ensembles submitting deposits and/or online registrations past the deadline may be rejected or their participation limited by the festival.

Audio Audition
If you are unable to attend a regional affiliated festival and wish to submit an audio audition to obtain an invitation to MusicFest Canada “The Nationals” 2024:
- Log in to the online registration system
- If you are a first-time user, activate your organization’s account, verify the mailing address we have on file, and identify any directors in your organization
- When on the ‘Registration > Ensembles’ page, choose the link to ‘submit an audition online’.
- A new window will open with additional instructions
