This year, with the support of a private donor, JazzWorks is awarding one scholarship to an outstanding young female jazz instrumentalist participating in “The Nationals” to attend its annual three-day JazzWorks Jazz Camp. The scholarship winner will have the opportunity to get excellent instruction, mentorship, and playing time with JazzWorks’ faculty of jazz musicians/educators and will join other amateur jazz musicians to learn and have fun. The scholarship is intended for promising secondary and post-secondary female jazz students between the ages of 15 and 22, and must be used in 2025 and is intended for promising secondary and post-secondary students of jazz.
