$100,000 In Scholarships
MusicFest Canada and its partners continue to develop the Scholarship Program to help Canada’s most outstanding musicians achieve their musical goals. Up to $100,000 in individual scholarships will be offered at MusicFest 2020 in Calgary. Do you have students performing in one of your ensembles who would like to apply for a scholarship? Encourage them to apply today!
Participants may be invited to audition for certain scholarships and bursaries, and will be eligible for such audition provided they perform at the 48th Annual MusicFest Canada in Calgary, AB, provided they meet the necessary criteria. For questions regarding criteria, see SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND CASH AWARDS in the Musicfest Rules and Regulations. To be eligible for most MusicFest scholarships, registrants must be enrolled in high school in September 2019; a limited number are available for post-secondary students.
To apply, please utilize the audition requirements described for the applicable National Honour Ensemble, and follow the instructions to create an online record to apply OR to login to an existing record:
- Visit the Musicfest Canada website at http://www.musicfest.ca
- Select “Login” found on the top navigation bar
- Enter your e-mail address and password. If you do not have one, follow the directions to obtain one.
Applications and recordings must be received by the appropriate Division Chairman on or before January 31, 2020 for Concert Band & Orchestra Division scholarships, and before March 15, 2020 for Instrumental Jazz Division scholaships.
