At MusicFest 2025 “The Nationals”, all scholarship, bursary and Award winners will be determined based on applicants’ audition recordings. Winners will be informed by e-mail prior to the festival. There will be a virtual Awards Ceremony broadcast on musicfest.ca on the last day of the Festival.
Members of the seven Honour Ensembles; the Conn-Selmer Centerstage Jazz Band, Laurier Honour String Orchestra, the York University National Youth Jazz Combo, the Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra, the Woodshed Canadian Percussion Ensemble, the Ellison Canadian Honour Choir and the Soho Sound Canadian Junior Honour Band program are eligible for scholarships. In addition, all students participating in registered ensembles at MusicFest Nationals may apply through the online audition process. The total value of these awards is over $50,000.00. Selection of recipients will be made by Festival officials with consideration paid to recommendations by Honour Ensemble directors and clinicians.
